    Business Development Manager – Healthcare Platform | $80K Base + $150-180K OTE | Remote (Australia)

    Avaana is an established healthcare marketplace—5,000+ practitioners nationally, with deep coverage across Australia's major metros.

    That foundation is what makes the next move credible.

    Now Avaana is making its next big bet. The corporate product is launching—bringing the same integrated platform their insurer partners rely on directly to mid-market and enterprise companies. Preventative wellbeing, early intervention, and injury management. All connected. All governed through the same practitioner network that's already proven.

    This is a genuinely new business area. What doesn't exist yet is the corporate sales function—and this role is the opportunity to own it.

    What You'll Actually Do

    • Self-generate pipeline into mid-market and enterprise companies (500–10,000 employees)

    • Run discovery with HR Directors, CPOs, and WHS Managers—multi-stakeholder deals, multiple buying languages

    • Navigate buying committees across HR, WHS, and Finance through complex sales cycles

    • Build the playbook as you go—this is new territory, you're defining what works

    • Fill strategic practitioner gaps where needed (~30% of time)


    Who This Suits

    You don't need healthcare sales experience. What matters is that you've sold complex, multi-stakeholder solutions before and you know how to build pipeline without someone handing it to you.

    This role suits people who:

    • You've sold consultative, multi-stakeholder deals—multiple decision-makers, longer cycles

    • You're comfortable in ambiguity and can operate without a rigid playbook

    • You understand HR/People or WHS buying dynamics (or you learn fast)

    • You want to own something, not just execute someone else's strategy

    • You're genuinely motivated by building—not maintaining
